The coronavirus pandemic has all but brought the movie industry to a standstill for the past two months and more and right now only the post-production works are being done following the proper safety measures. It is unknown when the Tamil Nadu government will give permission to resume shooting but the neighboring AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy has allowed film shootings from July 15th onwards.
The first film to start shooting in Hyderabad will be the Hindi biggie 'Mumbai Saga' that has John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi,Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff and Prateik Babbar in the lead roles with Kajal Aggarwal in a powerful female lead.
Sanjay Gupta the director of 'Mumbai Saga' has confirmed "We are planning to shoot in Ramoji Rao Film City as they have all the facilities and equipment required, including an in-house crew and technical staff, along with hotels for the team from Mumbai. It's all contained within the studio premises and that cuts down on the risk," He has also added that all his actors have reacted positively to this move and with only twelve days shoot remaining the gangster film will be wrapped up and release in the next couple of months.
In Tamil, Kajal has an impressive lineup of upcoming films including 'Paris Paris', 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar and costarring Kamal Haasan and 'Hey Sinamika' directed by Brinda in which she is paired opposite Dulquer Salmaan
