Malayalam actress Ivana, had made her Tamil debut last year, with the National award winning director Bala's Naachiyaar, where she was seen playing music director turned hero GV Prakash's pair and also had combination sequences with Jyothika.

Currently, the actress is starring in Siva Karthikeyan's ongoing project, the action movie Hero directed by Irumbuthirai fame PS Mithran and produced by KJR Studios. The movie has Kalyani Priyadarshan playing the female lead, making her Tamil debut.

While it had been speculated that she will be playing sister to Siva Karthikeyan in the movie, and following tweets that she will play sister roles with top heroes, the actress had responded saying that she is not doing sister roles in any movies, dismissing the rumour that she plays Siva's sister in Hero.
