Robo Shankar who gained popularity through comedy shows on Vijay TV such as 'Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru' and 'Adhu Edhu Idhu' has also acted in several hit movies including 'Idharku Thaaney Aasaipattai Balakumara', 'Velaiynu Vandhuta Vellaikkaran' 'Irumbu Thirai', 'Viswasam' and 'Annaathe'.

Robo Shankar's only daughter Indraja followed in her parent's footsteps and made a solid debut in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Bigil' as a female footballer Pandiyamma. Her performance was well appreciated and she scored in key hilarious as well as sentimental scenes . She also participated in the Tamil version of 'Survivor' hosted by Action King Arjun. She is currently acting in a few films and also busy in television.

Indraja is an active Instagram user and often shares photos and videos featuring her father, mother and a cousin Karthik. In a recent photo shared by Indraja she is seen in a temple in Usilampatti with Karthik and one of her followers noticing their intimacy asked if they are engaged.

Indraja has replied in affirmative to the query and she also added that the wedding date has not been decided and an official announcement will be made soon.
