Actress Harathi started her film career as a child artiste in the eighties and later graduated to the big screen after a stint on the telly tube as well. Her recent success is after participating in the Tamil 'Bigg Boss' season one hosted by Kamal Haasan in which she was one of the crowd favorites.

Harathi is an ardent Thala Ajith fan and makes it clear in all her interactions right from the time she declared it loud on 'Bigg Boss'. An alleged Vijay fan made some abusive and indecent comments body-shaming her and other actresses Sri Reddy and Yaashika Aanand.

Harathi shot back to the alleged fan in Tamil calling him brother "You can speak any way you want and it only shows your quality as a person. If you have guts you should post the comments after uploading your real name and photo and that is what Thalapathy Vijay too would like. If you dont do that I can only say that you are like that thing that barks at the full moon".

Harathi further added that if such mushrooming indecent people are thrown out of the Vijay fan clubs nothing would stop the Thalapathy from becoming the most favored son of the Tamil soil.
