Popular actress Hansika Motwani was nicknamed as Kutty Khushbu by fans during her heyday for her slightly weighty look. She starred opposite top heroes in Tamil such as Dhanush, Vijay, Simbu, Suriya, Karthi,Jayam Ravi,Arya and Sivakarthikeyan. Later she reduced weight but did not have any major releases for the past few years.

Hansika's latest statement on New Year about a strong comeback comes as a tonic for her fans. whe wrote “The last year has been quite a big challenge for everyone. Especially, the movie industry, which was confined to unbearably tough times. However, it’s great to see the light at the end of the tunnel as life is getting back to normal for everyone during this New Year 2022.”

The movies of Hansika that is ready for release are ‘Maha’, ‘Partner’, ‘Rowdy Baby’, ‘My Name is Shruthi’ and ‘105 Minutes’. She has now signed new projects with M. Rajesh, R. Kannan and Vijay Chander which will be announced soon.
