Nayanthara and Hansika Motwani were competitors during their peak times especially in Tamil and Telugu cinema. They both starred in a number of films with the topmost stars of both the industries. They also got married in the same year with Nayan tying the knot with director Vignesh Shivan on June 9th 2022 while Hansika married businessman Sohail Khaturiy six months later on December 4th.

Yet another similarity is that OTT platforms bought the rights to both Nayan and Hansika's wedding. However Netflix which has the former's streaming rights has still not released it. Disney Plus Hotstar has however announced that Hansika's wedding video titled 'Love Shaadi Drama' will begin streaming from February 10th. Fans are now questioning Netflix when the Nayan-Vicky wedding video will be streamed.

Hansika currently has more than half a dozen films under her belt that includes 'Partner', '105 Minutes', 'My Name Is Shruthi', 'Rowdy Baby', 'Guardian', 'Kantari' and 'Aranmanai 4'.
