Gautami opens up about Kamal Haasan

Veteran actress Gautami has been named the star campaigner by the national ruling party BJP which is aiming to gain big in the Tamil Nadu general elections.  She was hoping to contest from the Rajapalayam but since the seat was taken by the ADMK she decided to restrict herself to just campaign for her party.

It is a known fact that Gautami lived together with Kamal Haasan for almost ten years before splitting a few years back.  She has now opened up that the Makkal Needhi Maiam like any other new party is using the marketing trick that the people need to change.  Whether that strategy is right will only be known when the election results are announced.

Regarding whether the MNM will cut into the votes of any party Gauthami stated that she hoped that the Kamal led party will do so that would benefit her BJP-ADMK front.  The ‘Devar Magan’ actress however refused to speak anything personal about Kamal calling that a closed chapter in her life.
