Actress Dhanya Balakrishna who made her acting in Tamil cinema with Suriya's '7 aam Arivu' followed it up with other popular films including 'Kadhalil Sothappuvadhu Eppadi', 'Neethane En Pon Vasantham' and 'Raja Rani'. Popular Telugu actress Kalpika Ganesh who recently made her Tamil debut in the critically acclaimed film 'Parole' has alleged that Dhanya has secretly married popular Tamil director Balaji Mohan of 'Maari' and 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvathu Eppadi' fame. The duo acted as husband and wife in the web series “As I am suffering from Kaadhal” She claimed on her YouTube channel that the Dhanya and Balaji were in a romantic relationship for the past few years and tied the not in January this year. She added that they have still not announced their wedding even after a year. It is well known that Balaji Mohan was married to Aruna from 2012 to 2016 and announced his divorce in 2017
Kalpika further alleged that Dhanya is not promoting the Telugu and Kannada films she is acting in and that her husband is preventing her. The video was later romoved to which Kalpika reacted "YouTube videos are supposed to be removed, if they violate any guideline, after duly informing the YouTuber via mail. In this case, though, I didn't receive any intimation," Kalpika said, adding that Dhanya tried to reach her on phone last night. "Were you trying to intimidate me? Or, were you scared of me? Either way, I will follow the right route," Kalpika said. The concerned celebrities have not reacted to these allegations as of now.
