The past few days Mumbai experienced heavy rains and flooding due to the cyclone Tauktae. Young television actress Deepika Singh decided to dance and pose for a hot photoshoot and video during the storm. She had captioned the video " Bola tha na life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s learning to dance in the rain"
The video garnered more than a million likes on Instagram but the reactions were mixed. While one section of netizens lauded her for bringing positivity others trolled her that she is dancing when people have lost their lives and properties are damaged.
Deepika Singh has explained "You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying.What you can do is calm yourself, embrace the nature and it’s gloomy moods because the storm will pass..

Deepika Singh is married to director Rohit Raj Goyal who helmed her most famous serial in 2014 and gave birth to a baby boy in 2017. As if to pacify her detractors Deepika has posted another video in which she is dancing indoors with an appeal to the divine writing "Hey Lord Krishna! plz take away all our griefs and miseries from our mind and life."
