Kollywood has been through two tragic incidents in a matter of a few days. Recently, Tamil lyricist Kabilan's daughter Thoorigai died by suicide reportedly due to her parents forcing her into a marriage against her wishes.

And, today, news emerged that pretty Tamil actress Deepa died by suicide in a shocking development. She was found dead hanging in her room in Virugambakkam Chennai. Police retrieved the body and sent it for postmortem. The initial reports suggest that she killed herself due to her inability to overcome depression due to issues in her love life. She was 29.

For the unversed, Deepa played the female lead in a recent Tamil movie named 'Vaidhaa'. Deepa, whose real name is Pauline Jessica, has acted in a few films in small roles including in Mysskin's 'Thupparivalan'.
