An actress who has starred in many films and serials including Devyani's serial 'Kolangal' is has given at the age of 40. Celebrities and fans are congratulating her on social media platforms.

Actress Chandra Lakshman became an household name after portraying the character of Ganga in Devyani's super hit serial 'Kolangal' directed by V. Thirumurgan. A Tamilian born in Trivandrum, Chandra made her acting debut in the Trisha starrer 'Manasellam' and later acted in several films including 'Thillalankadi' apart from several Malayalam films as well. Her television credits include 'Kathalikka Neramilli', 'Vasantham', 'Magal' and 'Tulssi'. She is currently concentrating on Malayalam serials.

Chandra Lakshman, who fell in love with and married Malayalam actor Tosh Christy two years ago, has now given birth to a son. She has shared the photo of her hand holding that of her baby. She wrote It's a BOY...Thanking God,our parents and well wishers, our Doctors and staffs for all the love,blessings and loads of prayers for us and our lil one..The actress was 38 years old when she got married and her giving birth at the age of 40 has won her more admirers.
