Veteran actor-director Parthiban's experimental film 'Iravin Nizhal' with A.R. Rahman's music was released earlier this months. It won critical praise for the making but was also criticized for the underwhelming story and screenplay. Controversies also arose due to showing the naked breast of actress Rekha Nair who played Parthiban's mother.

Actor-critic Bayilvan Ranganthan slammed Rekha Nair who in turn verbally attacked him in a public place telling him that he has no business commenting about how she should act.

Similarly actress Brigida who played Parthiban's wife was shown dressless in crucial scene which upset her fans who adore her right from the time she acted as Pavi teacher in a web series. Brigida has revealed the truth about how she did the scene.

She shared on her social media page "Everything is correct except one point. That is a NUDE SCENE but , I WAS WEARING SHORTS AND TOP . Everybody misunderstood . And using The thumbnail as I was sitting nude in the film . Whoever thinking the same ... , IT'S NOT ! If possible spread this." Brigida has explained that she wore the skin color top with an elastic that looks like naked skin. The 27 year old stated that she was very uncomforable doing the scene as she is not used to wearing even skimpy clothes and is very concious about exposing her body.

Brigida Saga who has appeared in 'Master', 'Velan' and 'Ayogya' before 'Iravin Nizhal' is currently in talks for several films which will be announced soon.
