Some social media posts alleged that the actress had tried to commit suicide on grounds of the new developments in the actress assault case of 2017. Recently, the investigation team had asserted to examine the financial transactions of those who turned hostile in the case.

After the reports started to spread like a forest fire, the actress took to her social media handle to clarify the same. The actress said that the reports were mere rumours and that she and her family were in good health and spirits. "Recently there have been some wild allegations and rumors circulating on social media in my name. For those who are concerned about me and my family, we are in great health and spirits. Thank you for all the love”, the actress Bhama wrote in her Instagram post.

Actress Bhama is one of the favorite actors of the Malayalam audience after she impressed all with her debut movie Nivedhyam directed by Lohithadas. After carving a niche for herself in the Malayalam industry, the actress later did several projects in other south Indian languages too.

The actress got married to a businessman named Arun in January 2020 and took a break from cinema. Last year, the actress gave birth to a baby girl. Bhama kept her pregnancy a secret as she never shared a photo or anything about the same on social media until the baby turned one. It was recently, the actress shared a glimpse of the baby, from her first birthday.

On the work front, Bhama last appeared in the Malayalam movie ‘Khilafath’ which was released in the year 2018.
