Actress Priyanka Banerjee, who has done a few South Indian movies, has been busy in Bollywood. Recently, the actress became a victim of an online fraud.

She had ordered a drink via an online portal and received a call from a person who told her to pay a certain amount of money for the product to be delivered. Priya Banerjee had given her debit card details and minutes later, about Rs 22,000 was debited from her account.

After sometime, the person had contacted Priya Banerjee and told her that the amount was wrongly debited and asked her Google pay details to refund the amount. However, using Google Pay, he again debited Rs 12,000 from her account.

Priya Banerjee filed a police complaint, following which the bank transaction was stopped and her money was recovered. The cops are now searching the fraud.
