Actress assault case: Dileep's wife Kavya Madhavan to be interrogated!

Actress Kavya Madhavan, wife of actor Dileep, is also allegedly involved in the actress assault case 2017 and the crime branch has summoned her for interrogation. The actress was to be questioned by the crime branch on April 11. However, the actress is said to have conveyed her inconvenience to reach Aluva from Chennai on the specified day and so the interrogation has been postponed to Wednesday. Following her request, her interrogation has been now scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the couple's residence in Aluva.
The crime branch team decided to question Kavya based on the purported audio from the phone of one of the accused that suggest that Kavya had planned the crime. According to the audio clip that has a conversation between Suraj (who is the accused and also the brother-in-law of Dileep) and Sarath, Kavya had retaliated for some earlier insults she had suffered. It has been hinted that she would be interrogated along with director Balachandra Kumar, who passed some crucial evidence regarding the case to Crime Branch relating to an alleged conspiracy to harm the police officials who had probed the actor abduction and assault case. Later, Dileep may be questioned again based on the information collected from Kavya’s interrogation. Meanwhile, on Sunday, the crime branch special investigation team (SIT) collected the statements of actress Manju Warrier, former wife of Dileep. The actress has identified the voice of Dileep, his brother Anoop, brother-in-law Sooraj and family friend Sarath in the audio clip.
