Actress Arthana Binu made her debut in Tamil movies in Samuthirakani's 'Thondan' and played lead roles in G.V. Prakash Kumar's 'Semma', Karthi's 'Kadaikutty Singam' and Sasikumar's 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu 2'. She is the daughter of Malayalam actor Vijayakumar and Bindu Daniel who divorced several years back.

Arthana and her sisters live with her mother and grandmother in Thiruvanandapuram. Through a video on Instagram the actress shared the shocking news that her father though divorced from her mother often enters her house premises and wreaks havoc on the helpless ladies.

Arthana further alleged that no action has been taken on Vijayakumar in spite of repeated police complaints. She added that now its taken a serious turn as her biological father is making life threats against her and her loved ones. Vijayakumar has acted in more than a hundred movies in Malayalam as a hero and a character artiste.
