Actress Anjali Ameer a transgender actress made her acting debut in Ram's 'Peranbu' starring Mammootty and Anjali in the lead roles. She played the role of a transgender who the hero marries after seeing her handle his spastic child with true love.

Anjali Ameer has posted a video on her facebook page in which she has alleged that she is in a live-in relationship for the past two years and things have turned ugly for her as the man has been unemployed the whole time and depends on her for everything. She has also revealed that he has been cheating on her by having relationships with other girls and also owes her around 4 lakh rupees. When she had conveyed her wish to separate from him he had turned violent.

According to Anjali, the man has threatened that he would make an acid attack on her and she has said in the video that she is sharing her personal pain because she has no support from parents and does not have any friends too.
