The coronavirus lockdown enforced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in its second phase that will be in effect till May 3rd and may or may not extend for a further period basing on expert advice. The laws of the lockdown is strict for al citizens to stay at home and never venture out or encourage people to visit them. However, actress Anita Raj who acted as Superstar Rajinikanth's heroine in 'Thai Veeduj' and several Bollywood movies allegedly hosted a party for guests at her Pali Hill residence in Mumbai. Neighbours fearing ot the threat of infections spreading due to the party had alerted the area watchman who had then called the police. The police questioned the veteran actress and her husband Dr. Sunil Hingorani and left after recording their statements.
Anita Raj angry about the whole incident was seen in a video going viral on the internet arguing with the watchman that he has no business interfering with her household. She later spoke to the Mirror, “The fact is my husband is a doctor. One of his friends had a medical emergency, so he came with his wife, who provided assistance. My husband couldn’t refuse on humanitarian grounds. The cops came on a false complaint. After checking the situation, they apologized."
