Actress Angadi Theru Sindhu who has also acted in many other films has been afflicted by breast cancer that has spread to her spine and after some treatment is in her house and has sought help from others for the expensive treatment that she has to continue. The actress who voices out her opinion on several issues was in the news during the coronavirus lockdown when she volunteered and helped many in need.

Black Paandi who costarred with Sindhu in Vasantha Balan's 'Angadi Theru' released in 2010 visited Sindhu and has shot a video in which she has tearfully explained her condition. According to the actress she knew of he condition even before the lockdown but did not share it to the media as she felt that she could handle it. She revealed sadly that those who were close to her in healthy times disappeared the moment they heard that she was cancer-stricken.

Sindhu has also shared that actors Karthi, Robo Shankar, Thala Dheena, Ishari Ganesh and other television stars have helped her financially. But now since even the basic injuction is priced a few thousand and also that she has to undergo chemotherapy Sindhu has asked for help and promises to comeback and return the help by doing her bit for the society.

Black Paandi has also requested those watching his video to contribute even a small amount that could go a long way in saving Sindhu and he too promised that she is the kind of person who would help many when she recovers.
