British beauty Amy Jackson made her debut as an actress in the 2010 Tamil film 'Madrasapattinam' starring Arya in the lead. Later she starred alongside top Tamil heroes such as Chiyaan Vikram in 'Thandavam', Dhanush in 'Thanga Magan', Thalapathy Vijay in 'Theri', and Superstar Rajinikanth in '2.0'. She has also acted in Telugu and Hindi films.
Amy Jackson took a break from acting after giving birth to her son Andreas with businessman George Panniyatu in 2019. The couple however split after a couple of years together. The 31 year old actress is now dating British actor Ed Westwick.
Amy has shared stunning pics from a boat in deep sea and shared an important message "Yesterday we celebrated #WorldOceanDay out at sea with @paulandshark .
We were able to reconnect with nature, snorkel with marine life and actually take a moment to breathe in fresh air. It made us remember why it’s so important to love and respect our oceans.
As human beings we’re all water babies. Whether we go as far back to our evolution or to the nine months before we’re born; swimming around in our Mum’s tummy’s.
On top of that we are 60% water and it’s scientifically proven that being close to a water source whether it be natural, manmade or digital instantly has the ability to calm our nervous system - the concept being called ‘Blue Mind.’
So my wish for everyone this #WorldOceanDay is to fall back in love with our waters. When we enjoy and appreciate them, I know we will do a better job at protecting them as well as reaping the health benefits ourselves"
Amy then gave some bad news "Whilst we were World Ocean Day, I received devastating news about a @seashepherduk mission close to my heart. They reported on another whale slaughter in the Faroe Islands this week. 63 whales, including pregnant females and their foetuses, 6 juveniles and 2 very young calves had their lives taken from them in a cruel and indefensible way. Not only are these barbaric hunts cruel and unnecessary but they also have an extreme knock on effect to our ocean’s biodiversity which then affects us.
Please stand with us to persistently put pressure on politicians and decision makers who have the power to end these slaughters. There’s not one article in the press about this since last year. We need to share and repost across our channels to ensure this comes to an end."
Amy Jackson has completed her comeback Tamil film 'Mission : Chapter 1' directed by Vijay. The G.V. Prakash Kumar musical is produced by Lyca Productions and stars Arun Vijay, Nimisha Sajayan, Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopanna, Baby Iyal, Viraaj S and Jason Shah.
