Amala Paul, known for her bold roles in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films recently is on a spiritual path and shares it on her social media pages. Recently there was a controversy when the authorities at the Thiruvairanikulam Mahadeva Temple in Ernakulamwho refused to allow her inside. It was reported in the Kerala media that since Amala is born in an orthodox Christian family she was denied entry into the Hindu temple.
Amala has silently hit back at the Kerala temple authorities by posting photos of herself with her mother and a friend during her recent visit to the world renowned Lord Murugan temple in Palani. The actress apparently took part in the immersion ceremony (Kuda Muzhakku) in the hill temple and all three are totally in the traditional Hindu spiritual look wearing the "vibhuthi and kumkum" on their foreheads. These photos are now going viral and netizes are commenting that Amala has cleverly proved her point to her home state.
Amala Paul's upcoming movies include Mammootty's 'Christopher', Prithviraj's 'Aadu Jeevitham', Ajay Devgn's 'Bholaa' and 'Dvija'. She is in talks for a film each in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil.
