Actress Amala Paul made heads turn with her bold role in 'Sindhu Samaveli' way back in 2010 which was only her second or third film. After that, she has played diverse roles in hit films including 'Mynaa', 'Deiva Thirumagal', 'Vettai' and also paired up with Thalapathy Vijay in 'Thalaivaa' directed by her ex-husband Vijay.

In recent times Amala has opted for more bold roles as seen in 'Aadai' for which she went completely nude and experimental roles in 'Pitta Kathalu' and 'Victim: Who is Next?'.

On the personal front Amala recently went through another failed relationship with a Mumbai based singer and is involved in a case regarding that. However she has solid support from her mother Annice Paul and brother Abhijeet Paul who got married recently.

Meanwhile Amala is currently holidaying Bali and the occassion of her mother's birthday she planted a tree and expressed her love and wished to her through her Insta video. She wrote "Happy birthday to my mommy goddess @annicepaul7 ... A little gift to my mama, all mamas and MAMA EARTH... Happy heart... Blessed... Gratitude"

The 32 year old actress will next be seen in the Malayalam movies 'Dvija' and 'Aadujeevitham' and also in a special song in 'Bholaa' starring Ajay Devgan which is the Hindi remake of the blockbuster hit Tamil movie 'Kaithi' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
