Amala Paul made a hug impact acting in the title role of Prabhu Solomon's 'Mynaa' released in 2010 and in the decade that followed she has starred opposite top heroes such as Vijay, Suriya, Arya and Dhanush among others. She married her 'Thalaiva' and 'Deiva Thirumagal' director A.L.Vijay in 2014 but got divorced in 2017. Recently Amala shared that she is in a relationship with someone and takes his advice when choosing her film script as well.

Now certain media reports claim that Amala is in a live-in relationship with Mumbai based singer Bhavninder Singh. Photos of the couple have surfaced on the internet supposedly from Bhavnider's Instagram account which however have been removed. The leaked pics show Amala dressed as a Muslim to allegedly show that she respects her man's religion while he has also posted a pic celebrating Easter.

One of the stills has Bhavninder tightly hugging a girl which the media claim is Amala but its not visible. Whether these reports are merely rumours or if there is an element of truth will only be known if one of the two open up to the world. The talented actress is currently awaiting the release of her women-centric film 'Adho Andha Paravai Pola' and will soon start shooting for the Parveen Babi biopic directed by legendary filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt.
