The film industry is in total shock as a few hours earlier today (March 26th) a 25 year old actress was found dead hanging from the fan in her hotel room. Police have confirmed that it is popular Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey and have sent the body for a post-mortem, and officials suspect it to have been a suicide. Excerpts from an Instagram live from Dubey - mere hours before her death - have also gone viral on social media.

The 25-year-old actress was found hanging from the fan with a piece of cloth at her hotel room in Sarnath, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh where she was staying and shooting a new film. According to the hotel staff, the police were called immediately.

Earlier on Saturday, Akanskha Dubey appeared live on Instagram and had been seen crying uncontrollably on the livestream without saying a word. Fans are now alleging that she may have faced heavy mental torture to behave in that manner in a live session.

Akanksha Dubey's popular films include ‘Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki 2’, ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ and 'Veeron ke Veer'. Incidentally, her last song Yeh Yaara Kabhi Hara Nahi was released on Youtube mere hours after her death.
