Young actress Aishwarya Lekshmi impressed with her very first film in Malayalam playing the lead opposite Nivin Pauly in 'Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela' and is now not only a much sought after in home but also in Tamil cinema. She is Dhanush's pair in the upcoming 'Jagame Thandhiram' which is one of the most anticipated films of the year.

Aishwarya has posted a new photo of herself draped in a blue silk saree and has rocked in a retro look with her mother also in a similar attire next to her. She has shared that the saree she is wearing too belongs to her mother and the pic has garnered so much attention that Mollywood director Basil Joseph expressed confidence that Aish will be cast immediately by Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali if he catches a glimpse of it.

Aishwarya Lekshmi is also playing a pivotal role in Mani Ratnam's dream project 'Ponniyin Selvan' costarring Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayaram, Prabhu, Sarathkumar and Vikram Prabhu.
