Aditi Shankar the daughter of granduer filmmaker Shankar made her acting debut opposite Karthi in 'Viruman' directed by Muthaiya and produced by Suriya. She has found a solid place in the hearts of Tamil cinema fans instantly and has especially captured the youth due to ever energetic state.

Aditi who is very active on social media has posted her latest pics from her Navratri themed photoshoot. She wrote "Day 1 : Virtuous white Reflecting the purity of a mothers love, and a tranquility unattainable by any other hue. Wishing you endless peace on the first day of Navratri."

Post the tremendous box office success of 'Viruman', Aditi is currently acting as Sivakarthikeyan's pair in 'Maaveeran' directed by Madonne Ashwin of 'Mandela' fame. She is also in talks to star in other interesting projects as well.
