Actress warned by judge in Tami actor divorce case

Actress Adithi Menon has acted in the Tamil films 'Pattadhari', 'Santhana Devan' and 'Kalvani Mappilai'.  While working in her debut movie she and her leading man Abi Saravanan allegedly fell in love and later married and settled in Madurai.  Saravanan lodged a complaint that his wife took all the jewels and household items and absconded to her home state Kerala with her lover.

Adithi Menon on her part filed a divorce case citing irreconcilable differences while Abi Saravanan sought the court to help him reconcile with his wife and start life afresh.  Adithi had failed to appear before the Madurai court whenever the case came up and after stern warning appeared today.

The judge ordered that Adithi participates in the counselling to which she refused and stated that she will take the divorce case to the high court.  The judge warned Aditi that it is the duty of the family court to order for counselling and that she should abide by the law.
