Kodaikanal one of the exotic hill stations of Tamil Nadu has recently started allowing tourists who have been advised to follow strict COVID 19 rules during their stay. Over the past weekend the health department was checking cars on the lake road when they found that actress Aditi Balan and her friend were not wearing masks.

When the Health officers fined Aditi and her friend rupees 200/- she is said to have argued with them stating that she is an advocate and asked them to meet her at the police station. The fiery actress is also said to have had a similar fracas with presspersons who were on the spot demanding them to show her their credentials.

The officers calmly pointed out to the actress that the fines were in accordance to the government orders and she later paid the amount. Aditi Balan made heads turn with her award-winning performance in the 'Aruvi' directed by Thambi Prabhu which released in 2017 and was hailed as the best film of the year.

Aditi Balan is currently acting in Telugu and Malayalam films and is in talks to star in a few Tamil films as well.
