It was recently reported that small-time Kollywood actress Nilani's former lover Gandhi Lalithkumar committed suicide. After this, his family members put out certain intimate videos and images of the two and claimed that he took the extreme step because Nilani refused to marry him.

Nilani, after being unavailable for a couple of days, called on the media and explained that she was not to blame and that Gandhi was a womaniser and even harassed her mentally. She, for her part, released audios of recorded calls from the deceased man.

Nilani has once again given a shock a couple of days back when she attempted suicide by consuming mosquito poison and was admitted to a hospital. The cops have booked her for suicide and were ready to arrest her but after being discharged However, she is once again absconding and her phone has been switched off. Police sources also add that the whereabouts of her two children too is unknown and a new search is on for the three.
