Veteran actress Abhirami reveals about her daughter for the first time on Mother's Day

Actress Abirami made her debut in Tamil through the film 'Vanavil' (2001) starring Arjun and later starred opposite several top heroes in several films including 'Middle Class Madhavan', 'Samuthram' and 'Charlie Chaplin'. However it is Kamal Haasan's cult classic 'Virumaandi' was the one that still is her most memorable role. She portrayed the rural belle Annalakshmi who is the very core essence of the film's screenplay.
In 2014 Abhirami married her childhood sweetheart Rahul an US based businessman and the couple reside in the states. After a long gap, she made a comeback to films in a main character in '36 Vayathinile' starring Jyothika in the lead.
Abhirami who is 40 now has revealed that she and her husband Rahul have adapted a baby girl. She wrote on Insta sharing pics ""Dear Friends, Rahul and I are thrilled to announce, that we are now parents to a baby girl, Kalki! We adopted our daughter last year and it has been life-changing in every way. Today I am blessed to celebrate Mother's Day as a new mother myself! My Family and I request your blessings as we play our newest role."
Abhirami has also posted photos of herself and Rahul with their little princess and fans are congratulating the couple on Instagram. The pretty actress's upcoming films include 'Are You Okay Baby? ' in Tamil and 'Garudan' in Malayalam.
