The remand period of actor Dileep who was arrested on July 10th, 2017 by Aluva police for conspiring the abduction and assault of a popular Malayalam actress, has been extended to October 12th. Reportedly, Dileep was produced before the court through video conferencing.  

Meanwhile, the Kerala High Court has deferred the verdict of Dileep's bail petition to October 3. The High Court is hearing the bail plea of Dileep for the third time. He was also denied bail twice by a lower court in Angamaly. This is Dileep's last chance to seek bail before the Special Investigating Team files its charge sheet in the case on October 10th. 

Meanwhile, Dileep's much-anticipated movie Ramaleela is hitting the big screens today, September 28th.
