The latest development in the Malayalam actress attack case is that the questioning of actor-director Nadir Shah has been postponed after the actor’s blood pressure shot up just when the police interrogation began at the Aluva Police club today.
Superintendent of Police AV George said, "Shah's blood pressure and sugar levels showed variation and he was declared unfit for questioning by medical professionals. The questioning will now take place once he is fit and the High Court would be told about this decision."
Nadirshah, who was admitted in a hospital after the cops had planned to take him for questioning earlier this week, had approached the High court seeking anticipatory bail. Followed by which the court had directed the actor to cooperate with the Police. The court also directed the probe team not to arrest him till September 18, when the court looks into his anticipatory bail plea again.
All eyes are on the Nadir Shah after the prime accused in the case Pulsar Suni revealed that he had been in touch with Nadir Shah and had accepted Rs 25,000 from him. Nadirshah was previously interrogated along with Dileep by the investigation team in June for over 13 hours.
Meanwhile, Dileep, who was arrested in the case, is in judicial custody. The actor has applied for a fresh bail at the Angamaly court after being denied by the Kerala High court three times before.
