At a time when mental health has become a big topic following the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, actress Lavanya Tripathi has opined that celebs should start focusing on mental health. She also made a reference to an incident in her family.
Speaking to a national daily, the 'Arjun Suravaram' actress said that she has been hearing about actors dying by suicide. Opining that most of the actors focus on looks and skills, Lavanya added that "maybe we need to start focusing on our mental health too".
The 'Andala Rakshasi' actress revealed that she had lost a cousin to suicide, which is when she started realizing the indispensability of mental health.
Lavanya recently travelled to Dehradun, her hometown, after staying in Hyderabad due to the lockdown for several months. On the work front, 'A1 Express' and 'Chaavu Kaburu Challaga' are her upcoming movies in Telugu. The former is a Sundeep Kishan film casting her in the role of a hockey player. The latter stars 'RX 100' hero Karthikeya'.
