Rahul Ravindran of 'Andala Rakshasi' had a bad start this year with 'Howrah Bridge'. The film was a major disaster for the actor. But as a director, he is looking up ahead of the release of his debut movie, 'Chi La Sow'. Interestingly, the lead pair will be seen as 30-something individuals in the rom-com.
Set to hit the screens on July 27, this one stars Sushanth as the male lead and Ruhani Sharma as the heroine. And Rahul is keeping his fingers crossed. "Many directors tell me watching their film in a theatre with an audience on release day is the most exhilarating and nerve-wracking experience all at once. Been dreaming of it since childhood. Just hope I don’t have a heart attack," he says.
'Chi La Sow' is the first one to be backed by Naga Chaitanya. Samantha has been a friend of Rahul and his wife Chinmayi Sripada for long now. Annapurna Studios has teamed up with Siruni Cine Corporation for the project.
