Actor Vivek's wife and daughter meet chief minister Stalin with a deserving request

Legendary comedy actor Vivek who enthralled Tamil film lovers all over the globe for more than three decades passed away suddenly on April 17, 2021 at the age of 59 due to a massive cardiac arrest. Only a day earlier he got vaccinated for COVID 19 and released a video urging the public to follow suit as the pandemic was at the peak during that period.

A year has passed since Vivek left for his heavenly abode and his wife Arulselvi and daughter Tejaswani Vivek today met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. They have given a petition with a request to name the road in the Saligramam area in Chennai where Vivek's house is situated after him.

Government officials have stated that the chief minister will consider the request and do the needful soon. Apart from his capacity as an entertaining star actor, Vivek was also a social activist who planted a record number of trees in Tamil Nadu and followed in the footsteps of the late Indian President and Scientist Dr. Abdul Kalam.

Vivek and Arulselvi also have another daughter Amritha Nandhini while their son Prasannakumar died at the age of fourteen in 2015.
