Admitted to the SIMS hospital in an unconscious state, actor-comedian Vivek, who suffered a cardiac arrest in the morning hours of 16 th of April 2021. The private hospital he was taken to, by his family members has released a statement on his health. The update said that, he is under constant and critical observation since he was brought to the hospital in the Intensive Care Unit. The hospital claims that his situation is an acute coronary syndrome with cardiogenic shock.

He had just got himself vaccinated for the infectious COVID 19 a day before and he was under wide speculation, that all this was just a consequence of the vaccine. The hospital squashed this speculation too and stated that this cardiac event has no relation to the COVID vaccination.
