Veteran frontline comedy actor and social activist Vivek passed away early this morning at 4.35 am at a private hospital in Chennai where he was undergoing treatment after suffering a massive heart attack.
Vivek who has ruled Tamil cinema with his socially relevant comedy sequences enjoyed a close friendship with almost all the stars leaving them in utter disbelief and shock. Celebrities and politicians are taking to Twitter to express their condolences and are paying rich tributes to the legend.
