Kamal Haasan has paid rich tribute to actor Vivek who passed away in an untimely manner early this morning at a private hospital after suffering a massive heart attack on Friday. Kamal wrote on Twitter in Tamil "My friend Vivek did not stop his duties to society by just entertaining people with his acting but went beyond that and strived to repay them by his social service. As a protege of the great Abdul Kalam, he served as the champion for a green Tamil Nadu and his passing is an irreplaceable loss to the Tamil people."
Vivek came from the K. Balachander school which also produced Kamal Haasan and over the years the ace comedian had expressed that his wish to act with the senior which eluded him throughout his career. Finally Vivek was signed for an important role in 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar which delighted him no end for the chance to act with the Ulaganayagan.
However its unknown whether Vivek and Kamal shot for scenes together and hopefully the problems related to 'Indian 2' be sorted out soon to give fans a chance to watch them together for the first and last time.
