Actor Vivek joins political party?

The past two years has seen a number of Kollywood actors entering the political arena such as Kamal Haasan, Prakash Raj, Vishal, Sri Priya, Kovai Sarala and dance master Kala among others. A rumor started taking wings that ace comedian Vivek has joined a political party and would be campaigning in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Vivek has clarified that he is definitely not a part of any political party or organization and that he is a common man and a responsible citizen who will fulfill his democratic duties by voting. He also added that all politicians and party members are his friends and requested not to believe any such rumours.
