Actor Vishal addressed the media today, moments after members and executives of the South Indian Artistes Association paid their respects to the late M.G. Ramachandran on account of his 100th birth anniversary.
Vishal, who has been one of the victims of social media gossip of defying Jallikattu, feels saddened to know that people would spread misinformation based on nothing.
He once again reaffirmed that he is neither a supporter nor an ambassador of any kind for the Animal Rights organization PETA. "Such rumors that create false impressions among the people totally dishearten me", he said.
Being the General Secretary of 'Nadigar Sangam', Vishal solicits people to only buy credible information that is officially posted on the respective social media handles or television channels alike, and disregard such rumors that only lead to ambiguity. Reiterating his past statements, he says that Jallikattu is a part of Tamil Nadu's tradition and he'll always support its rightful conduct.
Meanwhile the 'Kaththi Sandai' actor has also deactivated his Twitter account following Trisha who also exited the micro-blogging site in the wake of severe abuses and trolls over her relationship with PETA.
