Thalapathy Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam is gearing up for its first state conference on October 27 in Vikravandi. The event is expected to see prominent political figures and film industry celebrities in attendance. In an unexpected development, actor Vishal has made headlines by announcing his intention to attend the conference.
During an awards ceremony in Chennai for acid attack survivors, Vishal addressed the media when asked if he had been invited to the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam conference. He said, “I haven’t received an invitation yet, but as a citizen and a voter, I’ll be attending the conference. I don’t need an invitation. I’ll go there and listen to what Vijay has to say.”
Vishal expressed his curiosity about Vijay's potential as a politician, stating, “I want to see what Vijay plans to do differently compared to the current political leaders. I’ll be there, standing among the people, to hear him out. This isn’t about receiving an invitation; it’s about understanding what a new leader has to offer.”
When asked about the possibility of joining Vijay’s party, Vishal was cautious. “I can’t make that decision right now. Let him conduct the conference first. He’s only taking his initial steps. Once we see his actions and his plans for the future, I’ll consider whether or not to join his party,” Vishal concluded. This statement has garnered huge attention online.
