Few days ago rumours were afloat that actor Vimal of Kalavani fame had a sudden heart attack and was immediately taken to the hospital. Fans of the actors were in shock knowing the condition of the actor, but now Vimal has rubbished all rumours in style by uploading a video

The actor took to his Twitter space and slammed the rumours saying that he is doing fine. He shared a photo on social media to slam the rumours. Speaking about this, Vimal said, "There is no truth in the news that I had a heart attack. Someone has spread this wrong information. I had a mild cough a few days ago. I went to the hospital for this. Now I am fine."

On the work front, Vimal recently debuted digitally by playing the lead role in the OTT web series Vilangu. It co-starred Iniya and Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, RNR Manohar, SS Chakravarthy, Reshma Pasipuleti and it was directed by Prashanth Pandiyaraj.

For the unversed, Vimal started his career by playing a brief role in Vijay's super hit movie Ghilli. In 2009, he made his debut as the hero in the film Pasanga directed by Pandiraj. After Pasanga, he played the protagonist in many films such as Kalavani, Vagai Sooda Vaa, Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Desingu Raja, Jannal Oram, Kalavani 2, etc.
