Chiyaan Vikram is all excited for his upcoming release 'Cobra', which is all set to hit the theatres in 4 days. Now, he is enjoying the promotional tour ahead of the film's release. The actor interacted with his fans in Chennai, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, Kerela, Bangalore and will complete the campaign in Hyderabad tomorrow.
The latest is that Chiyaan Vikram is in talks with Kannada director Pawan Kumar for a Tamil-Kannada bilingual project. The filmmaker is well known for making critically acclaimed films like 'Lucia' and 'U-Turn'. If everything goes well and the dotted lines are signed, this movie will mark Chiyaan Vikram's debut in Sandalwood. An official confirmation is awaited.
Meanwhile, Chiyaan Vikram has Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' lined up for release in the following month (September 30), which is one of the biggest films in the actor's career. Recently, director Gautham Menon also confirmed that he is aiming for a December release for their long-pending movie 'Dhruva Natchathiram', which will be his fourth release this year.
On the work front, Vikram will start shooting for 'Chiyaan 61' directed by Pa Ranjith. Produced by Studio Green, it is said to be a film based on 'KGF' gold mines and will be made on a grand scale. The actor will also be teaming up with the 'Cobra' director Ajay Gnanamuthu for another project soon. He will move to Pawan Kumar film after these projects.
