A famous actor was on a trip to Thailand with his wife and family when his wife suddenly died of a heart attack. The news has shocked the Indian film industry and condolences are pouring in from all quarters.

Actor Vijaya Raghavendra is an emerging leading actor in the Kannada film industry. He was on touring Thailand with his wife Spandhana and son. Spandhana is said to have suddenly suffered a heart attack and was rushed to a Bangkok hospital and given intensive treatment. But she unfortunately died without responding to the treatment.

Sandalwood sources say that relatives are making arrangements to bring the body of Spandhana, to India while the actor is trying his best to console his son. Vijay Raghavendra, who is a rising actor in Kannada film industry, got married to police officer Spandana in 2007 and the irony is that the tragic incident took place during celebrations of their 16th wedding anniversary abroad.
