Suriya is one of the top stars of Tamil cinema and he is one of those rare actors who could pull off commercial masala entertainers like 'Ayan', 'Adhavan', 'Vel' and 'Singam' as well as critically acclaimed close to real films such as 'Pithamagan' 'Aayutha Ezthuhu', 'Varanam Aayiram' and 'Pasanga 2'.
