Actor Soori Calls for Support After Wayanad Landslide Devastation

Actor Soori shared his sincere sympathies to people living in Wayanad, Kerala, who suffered from the terrible landslide. The catastrophe has taken hundreds of lives; rescue efforts around-the-clock.

Soori posted his grief at the disaster on social media: It is sad to hear the news of Wayanad! Mother Nature's wrath has claimed all the green areas we commemorated. Thousands have lost their houses and means of subsistence; hundreds have lost their lives. The scenes from there are really moving.

He exhorted everyone to keep the people of Wayanad in mind and pray for them as well as to offer any kind of assistance wherever. We ought all to be extending our helping hand. May the Lord bless all those engaged in field relief and rescue activities at this moment, he said.

The continuous rescue operations emphasize the importance of community cohesion and support throughout this trying period.
