India in general and South India in particular is known for showering love on arts and artistes and for the past century or so cinema actors have been the object of their affections. The film industry has produced five chief ministers from the industry namely Annadurai, MGR, Karunanidhi, NTR and Jayalalitha and may crown Rajini or Kamal in the upcoming elections too.
Over the years fans have built temples for actors and actresses and in Trichy, there is one for Khusbhu and Silk Smitha in her heyday also had a shrine built by her hardcore fans. For the very first time in Indian history, a villain actor has got a temple built for him in Telangana and it is none other than the philanthropic star Sonu Sood.
Sonu Sood has become a national hero after his unrelenting help to migrant workers who were affected due to the coronavirus pandemic, arranging private flights to bring stranded students from abroad and also providing transports to those stranded to get to their homes.
A week rarely passes without news of Sonu Sood helping those in need and he is already said to have spent crores or rupees and continues his compassionate help by procuring loans.
The villagers of Dubba Tanda in Telangana have dedicated the temple of Sonu Sood with his statue and named his The Real Hero of India. Its truly a great honor to the actor who deserves it to the max for his generous heart.
Tamil audiences can soon catch a glimpse of Sonu Sood in 'Thamilarasan' starring Vijay Antony, Suresh Gopi and Remya Nambesan.
