All of his films are made sure it is a blockbuster by his fans. Reaching a milestone age of 50, he has been recieving wishes from celebrities and fans across all platforms of social media.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan took to his twitter handle to wish the star as well. He had posted a heartfelt note in Tamil which translates, "Happy Golden Jubilee Year to you with the hope that we will overcome this difficult situation as you have overcome many trials and tribulations in life." Along with this note, he also shared a collage of pictures of himself anf Ajith.

Among these, one picture that caught the attention of everyone was of a young Sivakarthikeyan with Thala, who played a supporting role in the 2004 Ajith-starrer "Aegan" But, his portions didn't make the final cut and he made his debut with "Marina" in 2012. But the picture won hearts all over and has been trending ever since it was posted by Thala fans.
