Actor Sivakarthikeyan launched the first-look poster of the upcoming Tamil film, 'Robber'. This movie is based on a true incident in Chennai. Ananda Krishnan, the director of 'Metro', has written the story and screenplay for this film directed by SM Pandi.
Journalist Kavita S bankrolled 'Robber' on behalf of Impress Films, co-produced by Ananda Krishnan of Metro Productions. The protagonist of this story is a rural youngster who comes to Chennai, looking for a job. Awed and fascinated by the luxurious life of the city, he goes down the path of robbery. The film is all about how it affects his life.
The technical team comprises Johan Shevanesh as the music composer, NS Uthaya Kumar as the cinematographer, Srikanth NB as the editor, P. Saravanan as the art director, C. Mahesh as the stunt director and Hari Kiran as the choreographer. 'Robber' is slated to hit the screens this year. Producer Kavita said that the film will be close to reality.
