Simbu the much-adored leading hero of Tamil cinema has turned to the spiritual route recently and has been steadfast in the path. Earlier this year he paid visits to many temples including Madurai Meenachiamman, Tirupati, Thirutani, Thiruvannamalai and the Iyappan temple in Kerala.
A few days back Simbu traveled a thousand kilometers to offer his prayers at the Murdeshwara temple in Dakshin Kannada which is situated on the shores of the Arabian sea. The temple is world-famous as the second tallest Shiva statue is housed there and a photo of Simbu saluting it with hands folded has gone viral.
On the professional front, Simbu is awaiting the release of Venkat Prabhu's sci-fi thriller 'Maanaadu' and Hansika's 'Maha' in which he plays an extended cameo. He will soon resume the shooting of 'Pathu Thala' costarring Gautham Karthik and begin shooting of GVM's 'Nadhigalile Neeradum Sooryan' and 'Corona Kumar' directed by Gokul.
